Our Publication Record

We reviewed the dissertation coaching and editing services findable through ordinary web search in mid-2026 — which is to say, the services a doctoral candidate looking for help would actually encounter. Over 95% displayed no personal publication record of any kind, and among the remainder, we found none whose displayed record included a recent publication. We note, in fairness, that some legitimate boutique services are essentially invisible to search — but a service you cannot find is, for practical purposes, not an option when you need help.

And the ones we do know of have no publication record at all.

This is no accident. An active publication record normally requires an active research career — a faculty post, grant cycles, institutional access — which is precisely what full-time editing and coaching work crowds out. The two careers are structurally near-incompatible, which is why the pattern holds so consistently among coaches and editors.

So how do we maintain a current record? Our founder is a principal of this firm, not a solo boutique editor — and alongside MTAE he maintains a separate, senior consulting practice in international policy. That work throws off public research and policy publications from time to time — for international institutions and policy forums including the UN, the IEA, and TESS — most recently in 2026, with a major follow-up paper forthcoming this year. He taught at the University of Toronto long ago. He is not a professor today and holds no university post — by design, since our complete independence from every institution is a founding principle of this firm. The publications exist because the consulting work is genuinely at that level, and they are listed below precisely so you do not have to take our word for anything: check them yourself.

That is the standard we hold ourselves to, and it is the same standard we bring to your manuscript.

And there is now a measured reason to care about this.

A 2025 PNAS study found that fraudulent publication is growing faster than legitimate science, with authorship openly bought and sold — 46.7% of medical residents in one 2022–23 survey self-reported buying or selling papers, or having others write for them.

In a market where authorship can be purchased, a publication record is only worth something if it can be checked.

Ours can. That is the whole point of this page.
